Fellowship with Jesus

Gen. 6:6-8 - 6And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. (KJV)

We can see a big favor of God for Noah. Noah used to walk with God.

This was the early time when we human made our creator to regret.

As a worldly Parent, this would be really sad day of our life or any one’s life when his/her Children felt us regret and compel us to think.. why did we plan our family?

Time is very much same and our God is looking towards us that can we be a righteous man/woman like Noah?

As Noah used to walked with God, we all can walk with his Son Jesus Christ in rest of our lives.

HOW ?

Fellowship with God is a privilege, it’s a two way communication, God speaks to us through the Scriptures and we speak to Him in PRAYERS.

There are some key points through which we can establish our fellowship with Jesus Christ.

1.   1. To Seek Him, Let’s turn out Psalm 27:4-6One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. 5For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: In the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. 6And now shall mine head be lifted up, Above mine enemies round about me: Therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

As a sons and daughters of Jesus Christ, we are called into fellowship with Jesus.

We are not here to fellowship with this world.

As we all know that the wickedness of man is great in the earth, and that every intention of the thought of his heart is only evil continually. (Gen 6:5)

Our Prayer time increases our hunger to seek God. And he is only one who is Faithful 1Co 1:9

He has promised all of us Seek me I will have fellowship with you.

1.2. To wait upon Him- Our Prayer time / our devotion time keep us constantly in close contact with God.

Hebrews 4:16 - Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Oh! what a Joy and Promise here in this verse, No matter how our life is going, no matter which situation we are passing by, whether it’s Good or Bad, Favorable or unfavorable …no matter

We have a confidence that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of my need.

As a follower of Jesus Christ, we should have courage to Wait upon Him, have faith in this fellowship for sure you will receive all your desires and expectations at the time of need.

And through this wait Upon God, We gain new strength

Isaiah 40:31- but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

how beautiful verse is this. But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength…. Amen!

1.3. To Grow in Maturity - Our daily Prayer and Devotion time with God through the reading of word of God, resulting in our SPIRTUAL MATURITY.

1 Peter 2:2-3- As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

This is what the strength and maturity we will be getting in the fellowship.

Act 20:32-And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

1.4. To have Power - Through our Prayer time and Devotional time we We will be able to  establish our fellowship with Jesus Christ.

With his grace we put God’s armor so that we can stand firm in times of temptations.

Ephesians 6:11-Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

And through this your surroundings, your society for sure recognize your association with Christ.

Act 4:13 tells us - Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

We can be uneducated we can be common men but our surroundings will astonished to see our life and actions of our lives through the fellowship with Christ.

6. To know God’s Direction

So when we constantly depend on Him, his guidance is definite.

Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.

And my dear brothers and sisters most of the time in our life we do this big mistake ..

We lean on our own understanding. Be in complete surrender on to the Christ then for sure He will make straight our paths. Amen!

1.7. To Praise and Worship God

Through our daily devotion we are able to praise and worship him daily.

Please turn with me Psalm 34:1 - I will bless the LORD at all times:

His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Today I will encourage each one of you, It is very important to have

Fellowship with God through our Prayer time or devotion time at a

definite time.

As Jesus Himself set the example by seeking God first thing in the morning (Mark 1:35)

And have faith there will be a time in your life for sure when God will surely select you for His great work through your righteousness.

And then you will be fulfilling His desires and obedience for His Glory.

Amen!

May God Bless You.
